Welcome To SoundAlchemy Online Journal

This is weblog/ journal is about music, composing, instruments, equipment, software, samples, lyrics, shows, theory and more. I'm a composer and an amateur musician of many years. I enjoy music in many forms, have interviewed numerous acts before the broke it big, have composed hundreds of songs, and have been following the music scene since 1969, when I was a kid.

This journal will will give you my take on music, and that includes reviews of works new and old, free copyright-free samples of my own music (to do with what you want), (video) tutorials of music software such as Reason, lyrics (some that I'll put in the public domain), and possibly interviews, if I can find the time and rebuild my contact list.

If you are a music snob and only like one type of music, this isn't the website for you. I believe that music is at the heart of the universe, and as a spiritual alchemist, music is very important to me - all types of music. Sure I have my preferences, but I try to listen to everything at least once. If you're like that, then I hope that you come back often and even join the discussion.

Please note that SoundAlchemy is under construction, and this URL is only temporary. I will change the look of the template shortly, and after about 15-20 posts, the journal will live on its own domain.
